View DetailsNext, the tour continues by road to Okawa Bay for a thrilling 45-minute rafting trip down the Kaituna River. Home to one of the world’s highest commercially rated waterfall, Tutea falls some seven metres and provides an exhilarating white water adventure. Note, this adventure is only available for children 13 years or older when accompanied by an adult.
The vehicle then continues on a short journey to Lake Rotoiti, to meet a 53ft. luxury catamaran for lunch and a private charter. A gourmet barbecue lunch is served on deck while sailing the lake’s clean, clear waters. In the late afternoon, soak in the therapeutic geothermal pools accessible only by boat, before returning to the lodge by road.
The Rotorua tour can be taken on a full or half-day basis, and includes personal guide, private vehicle transfers, use of all equipment, lunch and refreshments.
